DAN-doors officially sealed its presence in Polish business scene. Head Ofiice's opening day was on 24 March 2010 in Bydgoszcz. Many major reviews appeared at a banquet - beyond an interesting speech, which opened the ceremony, they have an opportunity to ask a whole series of questions and watch the exposure of products. We had a chance to be there and, among other things, to talk with Tommy Christensen, one of the co-owners.
We would like - on behalf of the DAN-doors Poland - to welcome you all. It is a great pleasure to stand here today and see so many good friends and business associates who are here to help celebrate the opening of our new company here in Poland, initiated a speech Mr Christensen. Before a welcome speech, Anna Piatek (Commercial Director Poland DAN-doors) had thanked everyone for coming and then she had continued to multimedia presentation of DAN-doors.
Among the gathered appeared people who are important for the company, including: Steffen Eriksen - Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Denmark in Poland, the aforementioned Tommy Christensen, Kenneth Agner - the other co-owner and board member, Anna Piątek - Commercial Director Poland DAN-doors. Adds the potential business partners, representatives of businesses, both construction and major DAN-doors for the food industry.

Our readers have already had occasion to know DAN-doors in an interview with Ms Anna Piątek, but I would like to hear a few words about the company from you.
Historically, DAN-doors is founded in 1983 and has therefore accumulated more than 25 years experience in the organization about the design, production and sale of customized solutions within special doors for industrial use - especially in the food industry DAN-doors has a long history of supplying doors for chill and freezer rooms. Here we have had the pleasure - for many years - to supply customers like Danish Crown, Arla and many other customers around the world. There are currently installed products of DAN-doors in more than 100 countries around the world!
We have defined in DAN-doors the following 3 values, Well-Being, Reliability and Initiative - these are values which we have throughout the organization and these values will support us in the desire to strive for the best support and customer service as possible. It is certainly values which will reflect how we want to create success on the Polish market.
DAN-doors, as you mentioned, is known in many places in the world. Why did you select Poland?
We see Poland as a major growth market, a country with a big, strong agricultural production and therefore also a large food industry with a need for efficient solutions within the chill and freezer rooms. We are convinced that Poland in the years ahead will be one of the locomotives of growth in Europe, just as we are convinced that there will be a need for continued investment in upgrading and modernization of production facilities within particular food production. Supermarkets as Netto, Lidl, etc. are also on our customer list and certainly customers, who we hope to expand cooperation with here in Poland, supported by the establishment of our office here in Bydgoszcz. We want to become the preferred partner in Poland of supplying customized door solutions in market segments such as food, retail, industry generally and the pharmaceutical and hospital sectors. This is based on the experiences of our other markets.
With what mix of products going to enter the Polish market?
We are able to offer all our existing and potential new customers a wide range of high quality products ranging from PC-swing doors, Insulated Sliding Doors, Insulated Hinged Doors, High Speed Roller Doors, Fire-doors, Sectional doors, Ramps and Shelters - We call the concept "One-Stop Shopping" because we want to help our customers with solutions in all types of doors for industrial use. All based on customized solutions. A part of the concept is also our service and installation, where we in Poland - in close cooperation with selected and DAN-doors trained partners - are successful with a set-up which makes it possible to offer our customers a maximum response time on service at 5 hours - this combined with a 24 hours "Hot-line” service phone means that we can offer our customers this unique service and for them security. We have a desire to get close to the customer - we are specialized in customized solutions - that's also why it has been essential to be established with our own company in Poland in order to visit clients more frequently, to respond faster to queries, to prevent misunderstandings due to language and to be able to offer advice about the choice of technical solutions in the customer's own language – all elements that will support our aggressive growth plans in Poland.
Besides being able to offer products of very high quality, professional and competent advice regarding technical solutions, quality service and installation, we also have the opportunity to offer our customers help and support regarding the possibility of having EU support for individual investment. We have already had the first positive feedback for confirmation of support! - This is based on Ms. Anna Piatek’s background from the University specializing in the EU affairs, combined with the experience of jobs in the Bank sector in London.
